Description

This is the third in my series of 'convention friendly swords', and also from the Anime 'Inuyasha'. This one was a bit different, as I was not able to use a katana base. This sword is more like a really long Kung Fu Sword, but a bit different. There was alot more work with this one, as I had to completely sculpt the blade base and also make the purple guard from scratch. All paint used for this item is Tamiya Color Spray Lacquer, which is near-permanent, even on plastics.
You may notice that in the picture the handle for the sword is a bit longer. To make this under three and a half feet long, I had to make some sacrifices. It was either to make the blade really short, or the handle just a wee bit smaller. The gold ring on the end helps extend that, and I'm very happy with the result. I'm glad I was able to find matching red cording!
Also, that's a picture of the figure that I personally own, just to show what the sword looks like. I couldn't find any good screenshots from the show itself...
NOTE: This, like all other props in my gallery, is a purchasable item. Visit our website for more pictures and ordering information. [link]
